Chase the morning

A while ago, I was introduced to "Repo! The Genetic Opera" from two distinct sources.

I'll say this first: I like the musical, a whole lot. And because of my chosen profession... some chords struck home (no, pun intended).

In a twisted little way, I'm quite content with the casting and the production team for this movie. The movie didn't have a stellar cast, but it certainly had some very apt /daft actors and actresses playing the part they seemed to have been born to play. And that... is quite a feat. And the musical talent behind the movie... ah, well... let's say that when the credits rolled, it was a moment of recognition (and apprehension) for yours truly - and all in a good way.

I've been meaning to do something about my little treasure-find for quite a while. And since I've stumbled on my own "3000-hits" pageview myself earlier today, I thought this might be just the occasion I was looking for. "Chase the morning" has to be one of my favourite songs in the movie. And it is a song of hope in a bleak, leary and treacherous world. So... just for the occasion, let's us cast our eyes far into the future and let us all try our hands at chasing the morning...
