----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've developed a bad habit - It comes part and parcel of me being at work for most of my waking hours.

You see... when you are on call, sometimes you can't afford to sleep. I don't know about anyone else, but I am always afraid that if I fell asleep I might not hear the beeper go off. So I take my paper-cutting to work with me when I am on-call. I don't have that many brain cells left in the wee hours of the morning to come up with concepts and sketches... but chiseling out small pieces of paper keeps me awake without taxing my mind.

That being said, here's another project.

Artist's Note:
Picture Credit: Modified from traditional Chinese sources. The flowers and the birds in the design denote different seasons.

Technical Details:
Equipment: Cutting board, Artisan cutting blade (#11)
Paper: Canson Mi-Tienes #506 (poppy red)
Took: about 15 hours
Size: See ruler

Technical Note:
The Canson Mi-Tienes paper is created to be a multi-purpose pastel paper. And it seems to be the only paper suitable that I can find in-town. So... I am learning to make friends with it however I can.
