Happy New Year!
Today is New Year's Eve in the Chinese lunar new year. We are waving the year of the Dragon goodbye and welcoming the year of the Snake. So here is something for you, something dear and near to my heart. I am glad to present to you one of the five staple masks of the Peking Opera, "Jin".

Come celebrate the new year with us!

Love it! It's absolutely wonderful to see Chinese opera, especially in a medium as gorgeous as your papercutting! :+fav:
The patterns and the headdress are simply stunning, and I love beards in papercutting. The lines are always so delicate.

Just a little note, "jing ju" is Peking opera, and "ju" is actually the word that refers to opera itself :3
