Tea with Liam - Herbal tea

The question this week has been deferred due to technical difficulties, so we go back on our original schedule to talk about "herbal tea". Liam has been put in his theatre-best for this installment to illustrate a point, too. 

Technically, "herbal tea" refers to any vegetation decoction  that does not include the leaves of the tea tree (not to be confused with the plant that bears Tea tree oil). So technically, all teas are "herbal" for that reason. But to make that distinction, many people all around the world have come up with different ways to describe the "other" teas. The most common ones are "herbal tea" and "Tisane" (originates from the Greek word πτισάνη (ptisanē), a drink made from pearl barley.) Liam himself likes "tisane" better. But most people will take either.

1. Words hand-written with Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay india ink with a C-6 handwriting nib
2. Drawn with HB mechanical pencil and 2B graphite pencil
3. Lined with Sakura Pigma Sensei 0.4cm.
4. Strathmore 300-series Mixed Media paper 5.5"x8.5" (14x21.6cm), 90lbs (190gsm)
