Tea with Liam - Scottish Breakfast

A commonly forgotten breakfast tea is the "Scottish breakfast" and it is the strongest tea out of the whole family. Legend has it that the water in Scotland is "Soft" - meaning that is has little in ways of impurities and mineral content. It also means the water lacks a certain "taste" and therefore need a stronger tea to complement the "tastelessness" of the water. As much as I am a tea enthusiast, I think this legend is probably someone's fanciful imagining that has been retro-fitted to an existing version of breakfast tea. It's much more likely that the hearty, robust Scottish highlanders like their tea just the way they are!

2. Drawn with HB mechanical pencil and shaded with 2B & 3B graphite pencils.
3. Lined with Staples "Opti-flow" rollerball pen, medium.
4. Strathmore 300-series Mixed Media paper 5.5"x8.5" (14x21.6cm), 90lbs (190gsm)
