Faery kiss

I had decided to get challenged recently. I think it's the spring in the air (or the stagnation in my heart, either way...) that drives me to go out and try something that I wouldn't have done otherwise. This has led me to join this specific contest: I challenge you - Sign Up now! I was assigned a partner sweet-imperfections, who decided to challenge me to "build a pop-up papercut." 

I will say this first and foremost... I'm really not great when thinking in 3D. In fact, I am downright awful at it. So I went around looking for help. And I was very fortunate in finding people who are involved in a very specific niche known as "Origami Architecture", or OA for short. This is a small but thriving (and thrilling!) group that blends in precision papercutting with the art of architecture, engineering and literally making things pop. And thanks to them, I was able to complete my challenge.
